Corner wedge business cards template, 3.5 × 2", in the Beauty & spa palette

Business Cards template

Corner wedge · Beauty & spa

Two overlapping wedges in one corner; the type runs away along the opposite diagonal.

Set in Old-style book on the Beauty & spa palette — a classic pairing drawn for wellness & spa. The canvas is 3.5 × 2", the trim size the press cuts to, with the bleed and the safety margin already in place.

What you can change

Everything. The template opens as ordinary layers — headline, supporting lines, contacts, rules and blocks of colour — so you rewrite the words, swap the palette for your own brand colours, drop your logo in place of the mark, and move anything that sits wrong. The placeholder wording is deliberately the length of real copy, so a layout that holds here holds with your text too.

When it looks right, the artwork travels with you to Uncoated Business Cards or any other business cards in the catalogue, where stock, quantity and turnaround are priced live. We proof every job in Sun Valley before it goes on press.

How this file has to be built

Bleed 0.125" · safety 0.125"
Backgrounds run 0.125" past the cut line so trimming never opens a white sliver; anything that must survive stays 0.125" inside it. The studio canvas is the cut line itself — magenta edge — and the dashed guide inside it is the safety margin.
300 DPI at final size
Small format is read at arm's length, so photos and logos need the full 300. One side or both, your choice at checkout.
White underbase layer · Foil mask · Raised spot UV mask
These ride as separate masks, not as part of the artwork: 100% black where the layer lands, white where it does not. Design the ink in the studio and send the mask alongside it.
  • · Clear, frosted and kraft stocks print through a White underbase — keep that layer as solid 100% K art in a separate file.
  • · Round-corner and die-cut shapes eat the outer 0.125 in: nothing that must survive should sit in the corner radius.

Business Cards questions

Which size should I pick?
3.5 × 2 inches is the US standard and fits every wallet and card holder; 3.35 × 2.16 is the European size. Square (2 × 2, 2.5 × 2.5, 3 × 3) and the oversized 3.875 × 2.5 and 5 × 3 cards stand out but will not slot into a standard card case.
Why is my text pulled away from the edge?
The dashed frame is the safety margin — an eighth of an inch inside the cut line. Cards are trimmed in stacks, and the blade drifts slightly through the lift, so anything closer than that risks being clipped on some cards and not others.
Can I add foil or raised spot UV to a design made here?
Yes. Design the ink layer in the studio, then pick a foil or raised-UV card on the product page and send the finish mask as a separate file: 100% black where the foil or varnish lands, white where it does not.
