Compare business card printing by the job it needs to do
For everyday introductions, start with a classic printed card and compare the supported stock, quantity and finish. Specialty business cards solve more specific needs: an uncoated surface for writing, foil for a metallic accent, or clear plastic for a transparent design. A thicker card is not automatically the right choice when a recipient needs to write an appointment on the back.
Check the actual dimensions and material on each product before preparing artwork. Clear cards need a plan for white ink and see-through areas; foil cards need a separate finish mask. Use the selected template for trim, safe area and any rounded corners. Compare the complete configuration and its production time, rather than transferring an option from a different card.
