✦ A-Frame & Sidewalk Signs template
Nine-square grid · Retail confident
A modular grid: some cells are filled solid, the type takes the L-shaped remainder.
Set in Handmade note on the Retail confident palette — a handmade pairing drawn for kids & family. The canvas is 24 × 36", the trim size the press cuts to, with the bleed and the safety margin already in place.

What you can change
Everything. The template opens as ordinary layers — headline, supporting lines, contacts, rules and blocks of colour — so you rewrite the words, swap the palette for your own brand colours, drop your logo in place of the mark, and move anything that sits wrong. The placeholder wording is deliberately the length of real copy, so a layout that holds here holds with your text too.
When it looks right, the artwork travels with you to Coroplast or any other a-frame & sidewalk signs in the catalogue, where stock, quantity and turnaround are priced live. We proof every job in Sun Valley before it goes on press.
How this file has to be built
- Bleed 0.125" · safety 0.125"
- Backgrounds run 0.125" past the cut line so trimming never opens a white sliver; anything that must survive stays 0.125" inside it. The studio canvas is the cut line itself — magenta edge — and the dashed guide inside it is the safety margin.
- 150 DPI at final size
- Large format is read from a distance, so 150 DPI in size is the honest number — more is wasted file, not sharper print. One side or both, your choice at checkout.
- White underbase layer
- These ride as separate masks, not as part of the artwork: 100% black where the layer lands, white where it does not. Design the ink in the studio and send the mask alongside it.
- Keep 1" clear of the edge
- Grommets, pole pockets, hems and frame lips all eat the border. Type that close is hidden by the hardware, not by the press.
- · The frame lip covers about 1 in of every edge — keep artwork inside that.
- · Panels print direct to coroplast, PVC or aluminium composite with a White underbase.
- · Outdoor pavement signs face sun and rain: order a laminate if the sign lives outside all day.

- Should both sides say the same thing?
- Rarely. Pedestrians approach from two directions, so each face gets its own audience — one can carry today's special and the other your opening hours.
- How much of the panel does the frame cover?
- About an inch all round. The insert slides into a channel, so a border or a line of text sitting closer than that will be half hidden by the frame.
