✦ Vinyl & Fabric Banners template
Chevron · Gaming / esports
An angled ribbon cuts across the long axis and the headline sits on the ribbon.
Set in Ultra shout on the Gaming / esports palette — a bold pairing drawn for gym & fitness. The canvas is 96 × 36", the trim size the press cuts to, with the bleed and the safety margin already in place.

What you can change
Everything. The template opens as ordinary layers — headline, supporting lines, contacts, rules and blocks of colour — so you rewrite the words, swap the palette for your own brand colours, drop your logo in place of the mark, and move anything that sits wrong. The placeholder wording is deliberately the length of real copy, so a layout that holds here holds with your text too.
When it looks right, the artwork travels with you to Fabric Banner or any other vinyl & fabric banners in the catalogue, where stock, quantity and turnaround are priced live. We proof every job in Sun Valley before it goes on press.
How this file has to be built
- Bleed 0.125" · safety 0.125"
- Backgrounds run 0.125" past the cut line so trimming never opens a white sliver; anything that must survive stays 0.125" inside it. The studio canvas is the cut line itself — magenta edge — and the dashed guide inside it is the safety margin.
- 150 DPI at final size
- Large format is read from a distance, so 150 DPI in size is the honest number — more is wasted file, not sharper print. One side or both, your choice at checkout.
- Keep 2" clear of the edge
- Grommets, pole pockets, hems and frame lips all eat the border. Type that close is hidden by the hardware, not by the press.
- · Grommets, hems and pole pockets all live in the outer 2 in — treat that band as unusable.
- · Mesh banner is perforated: fine type and thin lines break up, set copy large and solid.
- · Blockout vinyl is the only stock that stops a double-sided print showing through.

- How much space do grommets and hems take?
- Assume two inches all round. The hem folds the outer inch back on itself and grommets are punched about an inch in, so a logo sitting an inch from the edge can end up half folded and half punched.
- Can I print both sides of a banner?
- Yes, but only blockout vinyl stops the two sides showing through each other. On standard 13 oz vinyl a double-sided print ghosts.
- Why is a mesh banner blurry?
- It is not blurry, it is perforated — mesh has holes so wind passes through, which is what keeps it on a fence. Detail below about an inch tall disappears into the holes.
