Type poster · Theatre & cinema
No picture — the headline is the picture, set out to the margins at full size.
Set in Swiss neutral on the Theatre & cinema palette — a minimal pairing drawn for publishing. The canvas is 8 × 10", the trim size the press cuts to, with the bleed and the safety margin already in place.

What you can change
Everything. The template opens as ordinary layers — headline, supporting lines, contacts, rules and blocks of colour — so you rewrite the words, swap the palette for your own brand colours, drop your logo in place of the mark, and move anything that sits wrong. The placeholder wording is deliberately the length of real copy, so a layout that holds here holds with your text too.
When it looks right, the artwork travels with you to Canvas Wrap or any other canvas prints in the catalogue, where stock, quantity and turnaround are priced live. We proof every job in Sun Valley before it goes on press.
How this file has to be built
- Bleed 0.125" · safety 0.125"
- Backgrounds run 0.125" past the cut line so trimming never opens a white sliver; anything that must survive stays 0.125" inside it. The studio canvas is the cut line itself — magenta edge — and the dashed guide inside it is the safety margin.
- 150 DPI at final size
- Large format is read from a distance, so 150 DPI in size is the honest number — more is wasted file, not sharper print. Printed on one side.
- Keep 2" clear of the edge
- Grommets, pole pockets, hems and frame lips all eat the border. Type that close is hidden by the hardware, not by the press.
- · A stretched wrap folds roughly 1.5 in of every edge onto the sides of the frame — keep faces and text 2 in inside.
- · Canvas texture softens fine detail; hairlines below 1 pt disappear into the weave.

- How much of my photo wraps around the edge?
- About an inch and a half on every side. Anything closer than two inches to the edge — a face, a horizon line, a signature — ends up on the side of the frame or hidden against the wall.
- Framed or unframed?
- An unframed gallery wrap is the modern look and needs no glass. A framed wrap adds a moulding around the canvas, protects the corners, and suits a more traditional room.
