Haloed badge pole banners template, 18 × 36", in the Farm & garden palette

Pole Banners template

Haloed badge · Farm & garden

A seal in the centre: concentric rings, a word inside, micro-captions around the edge.

Set in Newsroom on the Farm & garden palette — an editorial pairing drawn for travel. The canvas is 18 × 36", the trim size the press cuts to, with the bleed and the safety margin already in place.

What you can change

Everything. The template opens as ordinary layers — headline, supporting lines, contacts, rules and blocks of colour — so you rewrite the words, swap the palette for your own brand colours, drop your logo in place of the mark, and move anything that sits wrong. The placeholder wording is deliberately the length of real copy, so a layout that holds here holds with your text too.

When it looks right, the artwork travels with you to Pole Banner or any other pole banners in the catalogue, where stock, quantity and turnaround are priced live. We proof every job in Sun Valley before it goes on press.

How this file has to be built

Bleed 0.125" · safety 0.125"
Backgrounds run 0.125" past the cut line so trimming never opens a white sliver; anything that must survive stays 0.125" inside it. The studio canvas is the cut line itself — magenta edge — and the dashed guide inside it is the safety margin.
150 DPI at final size
Large format is read from a distance, so 150 DPI in size is the honest number — more is wasted file, not sharper print. One side or both, your choice at checkout.
Keep 3" clear of the edge
Grommets, pole pockets, hems and frame lips all eat the border. Type that close is hidden by the hardware, not by the press.
  • · Pole pockets are 2 in or 3 in top and bottom — that band is sewn shut and invisible.
  • · Corner grommets, if ordered, sit inside the pocket seam; keep 3 in of clear margin top and bottom either way.
  • · Pole banners are read from below at an angle — set the key line in the upper half.

Pole Banners questions

How much of the banner disappears into the pole pockets?
Two or three inches at the top and the same at the bottom, depending on the pocket you order. Treat the top and bottom three inches as lost and the design will survive either choice.
Should the design be different on the two sides?
Usually not. A pole banner is seen from one direction at a time, and mirroring the same design means whichever way a driver approaches, they get the whole message.
