Pole Banners templates
Pole banners are the narrowest, tallest format we sell and the one where hardware costs the most artwork: a 2- or 3-inch pole pocket is sewn at the top and bottom, so those bands are wrapped around a rod and never seen. Design vertically, stack the message, and keep the logo out of the pockets. Every one of the 53 sizes below is a live option in the configurator.
100 starting layouts, drawn for 18 × 36"
Each one opens in the studio as editable layers. The wording is a placeholder — replace it with yours and the layout holds.

Sizes we print
53 sizes in 41 proportions — a layout survives a change of size, not a change of proportion, which is why the grid above is drawn for the size marked below.

How this file has to be built
- Bleed 0.125" · safety 0.125"
- Backgrounds run 0.125" past the cut line so trimming never opens a white sliver; anything that must survive stays 0.125" inside it. The studio canvas is the cut line itself — magenta edge — and the dashed guide inside it is the safety margin.
- 150 DPI at final size
- Large format is read from a distance, so 150 DPI in size is the honest number — more is wasted file, not sharper print. One side or both, your choice at checkout.
- Keep 3" clear of the edge
- Grommets, pole pockets, hems and frame lips all eat the border. Type that close is hidden by the hardware, not by the press.
- · Pole pockets are 2 in or 3 in top and bottom — that band is sewn shut and invisible.
- · Corner grommets, if ordered, sit inside the pocket seam; keep 3 in of clear margin top and bottom either way.
- · Pole banners are read from below at an angle — set the key line in the upper half.
What it costs printed
Prices are the catalogue entry point for each item, computed by the same engine that charges at checkout. Stock, finish, size and quantity move the number — the configurator on each page shows it live.
Pole Banners questions
- How much of the banner disappears into the pole pockets?
- Two or three inches at the top and the same at the bottom, depending on the pocket you order. Treat the top and bottom three inches as lost and the design will survive either choice.
- Should the design be different on the two sides?
- Usually not. A pole banner is seen from one direction at a time, and mirroring the same design means whichever way a driver approaches, they get the whole message.
