Dealerships, storefronts, and outdoor events use flags to catch attention from the road. We print on 4 oz. polyester and hem all four edges so wind does not fray them, and the ink holds its color through sun exposure. Shapes include pole, feather, teardrop, and rectangle, printed on one side or in full color on both. Bundle the flag with a pole and mounting bracket to get a working setup instead of parts. Standard size is 36 x 24, with custom dimensions on request. Turnaround is two to three days here in Los Angeles.

Bought this? Write a reviewOn a single-sided flag the ink prints through the knit polyester, so the back shows your design mirrored — fine for logos and symbols, awkward for text. A true double sided custom flag is two printed layers sewn around an inner blockout liner, so both faces read correctly and nothing ghosts through. Double-sided costs more and hangs slightly heavier, but it's the right call for any flag with a phone number, address or slogan.
We print custom pole flags on knit polyester with dye-sublimation, which keeps the ink in the fiber so it won't flake in wind and rain like screen-printed coatings do. In Southern California sun, expect roughly 6 to 12 months of strong color on a flag flown daily, longer if it's taken down between events. Nylon is an option when you want a lighter flag that flies in gentle wind; polyester is tougher in high wind and around coastal weather.
Tailgate and event flags are usually 3x5 ft, the size that fits standard tailgate poles and most residential brackets; 2x3 ft suits shorter poles and car mounts, and 4x6 ft or 5x8 ft is for large commercial poles. Standard finishing is a reinforced canvas header with two brass grommets for pole clips; we can also sew a pole sleeve if the flag slides onto a rod. Tell us the pole hardware you already own and we'll finish it to match.
Send vector art or a 150 DPI raster at final size, and keep logos and text at least 2 inches away from the header edge — that strip disappears against the pole and into the sewn hem. Remember the fly end takes the most wear and whips constantly, so avoid putting a critical word or a face right at the outer tip. High-contrast, bold artwork reads far better at distance than fine detail, which blurs the moment the flag moves.
Upload print-ready PDF, PNG, JPG or SVG. The built-in two-sided editor renders PDFs, lets you position and zoom your design, and crops it to size with print bleed automatically.
