Card Magnets templates
A magnet is a card that never gets thrown away, which is why the layouts here put the phone number where a fridge door shows it — high, large and unobstructed. All sizes print on one side only; the back is the magnetic face. The 3.5 × 8.5 inch strip is the calendar shape, and 6 × 4 is the standard magnetic postcard.

How this file has to be built
- Bleed 0.125" · safety 0.125"
- Backgrounds run 0.125" past the cut line so trimming never opens a white sliver; anything that must survive stays 0.125" inside it. The studio canvas is the cut line itself — magenta edge — and the dashed guide inside it is the safety margin.
- 300 DPI at final size
- Small format is read at arm's length, so photos and logos need the full 300. Printed on one side.
- · Magnet stock is thick and cut individually, so corners round very slightly — leave the corner 0.2 in free of critical art.

Card Magnets questions
- Can a magnet be printed on both sides?
- No. The reverse is the magnetic face, so every magnet in the catalogue is single-sided. Put everything that matters on the front.
- What size works best on a fridge?
- 6 × 4 and 5.5 × 4.25 inches read from across a kitchen and still fit beside other clutter. The 3.5 × 8.5 strip is for year calendars, where the grid needs the height.
