Presentation Folders templates
A presentation folder is a die-cut sheet, not a rectangle: the pockets are part of the same flat blank and fold up over the front of the inside panel. That means artwork on the lower inside third is partly covered once the pockets are glued. The sizes below are the finished closed folder — 9.25 × 12.25 inches holds letter paper, 6 × 9 holds a rack card.
100 starting layouts, drawn for 9.25 × 12.25"
Each one opens in the studio as editable layers. The wording is a placeholder — replace it with yours and the layout holds.

Sizes we print
2 sizes in 2 proportions — a layout survives a change of size, not a change of proportion, which is why the grid above is drawn for the size marked below.

How this file has to be built
- Bleed 0.125" · safety 0.125"
- Backgrounds run 0.125" past the cut line so trimming never opens a white sliver; anything that must survive stays 0.125" inside it. The studio canvas is the cut line itself — magenta edge — and the dashed guide inside it is the safety margin.
- 300 DPI at final size
- Small format is read at arm's length, so photos and logos need the full 300. One side or both, your choice at checkout.
- Foil mask · Raised spot UV mask
- These ride as separate masks, not as part of the artwork: 100% black where the layer lands, white where it does not. Design the ink in the studio and send the mask alongside it.
- · Folders are die-cut from a flat blank; the pocket panels fold up and cover the lower inside area.
- · A business-card slit removes a slot from the right pocket — keep art clear of it.
- · Design the outside first: the closed folder is what the client sees.
What it costs printed
Prices are the catalogue entry point for each item, computed by the same engine that charges at checkout. Stock, finish, size and quantity move the number — the configurator on each page shows it live.
Presentation Folders questions
- Is 9.25 × 12.25 the flat sheet?
- No, that is the finished closed folder — sized to hold 8.5 × 11 paper without it sticking out. The flat die-cut blank is considerably larger and we impose it for you.
- Can I print inside the folder?
- Yes. Outside-only is the cheaper standard; printing outside and inside lets you use the inner panels above the pockets, which is where a capability list or a spec table sits well.
