About this product
Staff badges do simple work: a customer can see who works there, and the front desk can tell an employee from a visitor at a glance. This is custom ID card printing on 16PT coated stock, sealed under gloss or matte lamination as thick as 10 mil, which is what stands up to being clipped on and worn on a lanyard every day. Options include an oblong slot, a retractable clip, and variable data, which drops each name and photo onto the correct badge. Ten is the smallest run we take. Delivery costs at least $50. The final charge is calculated by ZIP when available; oversized items and freight may need a separate quote. Pickup in Sun Valley is always free.

Questions about Employee ID Badges
What are the employee ID badges made of?
These badges use 16PT Coated 2 Sides paper stock with protective lamination: 5 mil gloss, 10 mil gloss or 5 mil matte on both sides. They are laminated printed badges, not 30 mil PVC smart cards. Choose the displayed size and orientation before arranging names and photos.
Can every employee badge have a different name and photo?
Yes. Select Variable Data for a run with different employee details. Supply a consistent list of names and identifiers and clearly matched photo files, so each record can be paired with the correct artwork.
Which attachment and corner options are available?
The configurator lists oblong, round, double-hole and double-oblong punches, plus no punch. Rounded corners are 1/4 inch on all four corners. Retractable and bulldog clips are selectable options; check that the punch and orientation suit how the badge will be worn.
Do these badges include access-control encoding?
This product configures the printed identification badge, its lamination and attachment options. RFID, magnetic-stripe or smart-chip encoding is not part of the listed configuration. Runs start at 10 badges; a single-badge reorder is not a listed quantity.
What artwork files do you accept?
Use the file types listed beside the artwork upload. Supply a print-ready file at the correct size with the bleed and safe area required for your product. Artwork uploaded directly is attached as supplied; the Design Studio has a separate layout and export step. Attaching a file does not confirm that its colors, fonts or cut lines have passed production checks.
Do you ship employee id badges nationwide?
Yes — Angels Print offers nationwide shipping, with a shop in Sun Valley, California. Delivery options depend on the selected item and order. Pickup at our Sun Valley shop is always free. Delivery costs at least $50; higher calculated charges apply. Legacy delivery thresholds and promotion codes do not change that charge. We calculate the available delivery charge at checkout from your ZIP and the items in the order. Oversized items and freight may require a separate delivery quote — call (818) 806-9006 or request a quote at angelsprint.com/contact. The $50 minimum is not a fixed freight quote.
