Can you engrave bare metal like stainless or brass?

Yes. Our fiber laser anneals or deep-engraves bare stainless, brass and aluminum directly, and for one-off bare-metal jobs we can bond a permanent black CerMark mark using the CO2 laser.

Do I need to supply vector artwork?

Vector files (AI, EPS, SVG, PDF or DXF) give the cleanest edges and are ideal for logos and text. We also engrave from high-resolution 600-1200 dpi raster images for photo-style work, and can re-draw simple logos in-house if needed.

Can you engrave curved items like tumblers and bottles?

Yes. A rotary axis rotates cylindrical items under the beam so text and logos wrap evenly around tumblers, bottles, pens and similar parts up to the bed's capacity.
