About this product
A colored core sits between two printed faces, so the edge of the card shows a band of red, blue, black, or magenta while both sides carry your artwork. Total caliper lands at 38PT, closer to matboard than to paper. Rose Gold foil, Soft Touch Lamination, and rounded corners are all available on top of that. Runs start at 100 and go up to 5000. Designers, real estate agents, and salon owners order these when a card has to survive a stack on someone's desk and still get picked up.
Make the colored core part of the design
A triple-layer business card reveals its color along the edge as well as on the printed faces. Match the middle layer to one intentional accent in the artwork so the card reads as a coherent object when viewed from the side. A restrained front can leave more attention for the colored edge.
Review both faces together when adding foil or raised spot UV. A decorative effect on one side should support the layout on the other, and a narrow border makes trimming variation more noticeable. Use the selected shape and size template before preparing the final file.

What makes a business card triple layer?
Two outer sheets and a colored middle sheet form a 38PT card. Choose coated or uncoated three-layer stock; the middle layer creates the visible edge stripe. This product is 38PT, not 32pt.
How are triple-layer and painted-edge business cards different?
A triple-layer card gets its edge stripe from the middle sheet. Painted-edge cards apply color to the outer cut edge of a different stock. Choose a layered card when you want the central color band to remain visibly distinct from the two printed faces.
Which middle-layer colors are available?
The listed middle-layer options are white, red, blue, black and magenta. Choose a color that works with the artwork on both faces. Additional colors should not be assumed from examples of other layered-card products.
Which shapes, finishes and quantities can I select?
The configurator lists rectangle, square and circle shapes, with preset and custom sizes, plus optional rounded corners. Finishes include uncoated, matte or soft-touch lamination, with listed foil and raised spot UV options. Enter your production quantity in the configurator. Rush: 1–2 business days (selected by default). Express: 5 business days. Standard: 10 business days. Production starts immediately after payment; delivery time is additional.
What artwork files do you accept?
Use the file types listed beside the artwork upload. Supply a print-ready file at the correct size with the bleed and safe area required for your product. Artwork uploaded directly is attached as supplied; the Design Studio has a separate layout and export step. Attaching a file does not confirm that its colors, fonts or cut lines have passed production checks.
Do you ship triple layer business cards nationwide?
Yes — Angels Print offers nationwide shipping, with a shop in Sun Valley, California. Delivery options depend on the selected item and order. Pickup at our Sun Valley shop is always free. Delivery costs at least $50; higher calculated charges apply. Legacy delivery thresholds and promotion codes do not change that charge. We calculate the available delivery charge at checkout from your ZIP and the items in the order.
