Bleed 0.125" · safety 0.125"

Backgrounds run 0.125" past the cut line so trimming never opens a white sliver; anything that must survive stays 0.125" inside it. The studio canvas is the cut line itself — magenta edge — and the dashed guide inside it is the safety margin.

300 DPI at final size

Small format is read at arm's length, so photos and logos need the full 300. Printed on one side.

White underbase layer · Foil mask · Raised spot UV mask

These ride as separate masks, not as part of the artwork: 100% black where the layer lands, white where it does not. Design the ink in the studio and send the mask alongside it.

• · Clear matte and clear gloss vinyl need a White layer under every element that must stay opaque.
• · Contour cut tolerance is about 1/16 in — avoid thin even borders that expose the drift.
• · Sheet sizes (8.5 × 11, 8.5 × 5.5, 8.5 × 3.5) are the sheet, not the individual sticker.
