How this file has to be built

Bleed 0.125" · safety 0.125"

Backgrounds run 0.125" past the cut line so trimming never opens a white sliver; anything that must survive stays 0.125" inside it. The studio canvas is the cut line itself — magenta edge — and the dashed guide inside it is the safety margin.

150 DPI at final size

Large format is read from a distance, so 150 DPI in size is the honest number — more is wasted file, not sharper print. Printed on one side.

White underbase layer

These ride as separate masks, not as part of the artwork: 100% black where the layer lands, white where it does not. Design the ink in the studio and send the mask alongside it.

• · Substrate is 1/8 in white PVC or 3/16 in white foam — the flatbed lays a White underbase before the colour.
• · The easel foot is taped to the back; nothing on the face is lost, but the panel leans, so avoid ultra-thin type at the bottom edge.
